We have continued a tradition of titling our favorite musical moments of a season "Moments of Joy" - after all, one of the meanings of the word Allegro is "joyful!" Moments of Joy, Vol II, from our Fifth Season (2006), contains movements from works by J. S. Bach as well as his son, Carl Phillip Emmanuel Bach, and Bach's contemporary George Frederick Handel. From the Classical era you'll find Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Franz Joseph Haydn, and the Fifth Symphony of that towering giant: Ludwig van Beethoven! Truly a feast for the ears!
