Meet our Concertmaster

Todd Sullivan

Portrait of Todd SullivanTodd Sullivan, concertmaster, has had a wide and varied career as a violinist, orchestrator and conductor. As a violinist, Todd performs for New York City's Little Orchestra Society and Broadway's "Wicked". Past experience includes the national touring productions of Kiss Me Kate, Annie, The King & I, Camelot, The Lights in the Piazza, Spamalot, South Pacific, and The Boyfriend, and work as concertmaster for headliners Ray Charles, Johnny Mathis, Anne Murray, Manhiem Steamroller, Chuck Mangione, Natalie Merchant, and Patti Austin.

Todd is currently the orchestrator and Music Director for the theatrical production "Fireworks" written and composed by Robert Cooper, and is the orchestrator for the New York production of Andrew Wight's "Mother Russia", which made its debut at Carnegie Hall in December 2008. Todd's orchestrations for symphony orchestras and headline vocalists have been featured on numerous concerts and albums throughout the country, and Todd continues to arrange and conduct for the Boston String Quartet’s “Xibus” tours of symphonic/chamber music world fusion.

A founding member of New York City’s Meyers-Sullivan Orchestra, Todd is co-producer, along with six-time Emmy Award winner Lanny Meyers, for the album "The Dave Brubeck Songbook”. Meyers-Sullivan, an assemblage of the top session players in the music business, is also currently in production for the network television premiere of “Angela and the Baby Jesus”.
